Book I - The Distant Voices
Published March 2009
On his twentieth birthday, Michael Tyler stumbles down a train track, homeless
and drunk, when the voice that plagued his youth returns with a shocking
proposition...
The voices of Galactic Central had coordinated communication between planets of
the psychic collective for eons until a powerful energy spike drew its attention to a
remote star located inside in a distant galaxy on the edge of their range. Only a
select group of inhabitants from a planet in that system could hear the voices of
Galactic Central. The one human who replied to one of these voices spent eight
years in an asylum, doped up on psychotropic medicine. Two years after his
emancipated discharge, Michael Tyler was homeless, drunk, and out of
medication. On his twentieth birthday, the voice in his head returns, only this time
Michael discovers that the voice he hears is not a delusion but an alien trying to
make first contact. This alien offers help and guidance to Michael on this first step
of his journey... for Michael discovers he is not alone. There are others of his kind
scattered around planet Earth. So he sets out to find and convince them that the
voice they hear is one that will be the start of a new emerging human.

Book II - "The Voices Arrive"
Published October 2009
This story literally continues from the moment the first novel ended. Michael Tyler
and his newly formed band of merry psychics must find a place to live. As they
flee the China in a stolen jet, they know its repressive government and crowded
environment will not allow them a place to live and grow. They rule out Russia,
India, and Mexico as possible homes as well. All possible places seem improbable.
However, Han, the group's master of strategy, proposes the ideal location and the
logic behind his reasoning is sound. The solution seems all too obvious.
This second novel explores the difficulty of starting a psychic community and the
challenges the group must overcome to maintain their sanity. Can they work
together to form a cohesive team? Will being able to read the thoughts and feelings
of those around you be a help or a hindrance. The old man that Michael now
addresses as Master Li is so powerful that no one dares challenge his authority.
Yet, Li is a kind spirit and inspires the group to be humanity's benefactors.

Book IV - The Voices Down Under
On two of the planet's seven continents, Master Li does not sense psychics
emerging from either South America or Australia. However, all of that is about to
change when head of security, Zhiwei, shows up at headquarters one snowy
morning in January with a news report from Australia. The corpse of a sexually
molested young woman is found on a beach near Adelaide with two anomalies:
her larynx is crushed with no exterior marks and her birthplace is listed as Rollo,
Kansas, a small village that no longer exists.
Master Li and Han can draw only one conclusion: the emergence of an
undetected rogue psychic has emerged in the land down under. Li calls in his
pupil, Michael Tyler, to head a strike team of psychics that will confront the rogue
and stop his planned attack on the planet. However, before they can leave, Master
Li makes a startling discovery. Australia has more than one psychic and they
cannot determine which one committed the heinous crimes?

Book V - The Proximate Voices
An African scientist sits in the dark hunched over the screen of an electron
microscope with his lab assistant nearby...
"This isn't like the other viruses..." Salla observed.
"It's late. Would you like me to stay?" his assistant offers.
"No... you can go. I'll close up," Salla said and dismisses her.
"Don't forget to call your wife," she reminded. "You promised you'd go to the
party at eight..."
"Yes, yes..." he said and waved her off. He stared intently at the screen. "You
look like my old friend, but somehow, you are different..."
If Salla only knew how this variant of a virus he studied for nearly ten years
would wreak havoc and devastation on his village as well as other hamlets along
the Niger River. Soon the virus would spread downstream and bring one
government to its knees. Called to action, the team of psychics from the WPO
arrive, only to find there was more to the spreading infection than a simple virus.
A mysterious force threatens the very foundation of their organization.

"The Outer Voices" - Book VI of "The Voices Saga"
"I request an audience with the director," Michael linked through his voice.
"I sense Master Li in your presence," the director linked back.
As if his words aroused great curiosity, the group on Earth could feel the links
of several million voices as they tapped in to listen.
"We know why you have come, Michael," the director openly linked. "This
thing that attacked Li, it has no shape, no form. We do not know if it is made of
living tissue. We only know that it feeds off psychic energy, and that your entire
planet is vulnerable to attack."
"You mean we are vulnerable to attack," Master Li pointed out. "The rest of
Earth's inhabitants will survive without us..."
"I'm glad you feel they can get by without us," Han quipped. "Personally, I
liked it better when we survived these things..."
